Two tracks exploring the new recording space.

Inside / Excrescence: improvised rehearsal using newly prepared tape loops and feedback. Played into the room through a small amp and captured by handheld recorder.

Outside / Void: lightly edited field recordings of the street outside on sunday morning; three tape recorders recording the empty room on the monday evening and then played back into the same room at the same time; two slightly malfunctioning tape recorders recording each other on wednesday afternoon and then played back to the room. All of the above layered together.

Physical copies accompanied by a 20 pages-long zine consisting of collages by LP which were fleshed out at the same time as the two tracks were recorded.

Very interesting soundscape. I imagine the gentle clanging of Tibetan water bowls, water droplet sounds in reverse and the intermittent foghorn. Richard Erickson
